What are you going to do?

You will have a significant role in defining our sales strategy for Employee Benefits and Life (EB) in the Netherlands by turning threats and opportunities into feasible and profitable solutions to achieve long-term goals. This is accompanied by a P&L responsibility. You will manage, coach and develop your team of 20 people to the best of your abilities. You will also be the face of Allianz towards the market, developing existing and new business exploring new distribution channels and closing large deals. Additionally, you are responsible for profitable growth in a challenging and dynamic market within regulatory guidelines. 

Who are you?

  • You have excellent knowledge of the Pension and Income market;
  • You are familiar with life business (term, annuities and mortgages);
  • You have at least 10 years of experience in the EB-market and significant experience in managing a team;
  • You possess outstanding negotiating skills and have a good sense of diplomacy;
  • You have the ability to manage an existing product portfolio and exploit opportunities;
  • You can drive and know how to position a business line, including its products and expertise;
  • You have the ability to manage a value chain in all its aspects;
  • You are a natural leader and have the ability to coach in order to grow people in your team;
  • You are fluent in Dutch as well as English; spoken and written.
